Today, we introduce the Totally Clinical: Trial Triumphs & Rad Trends podcast available on Spotify, Apple, and Google.

The Totally Clinical podcast demystifies clinical trials, inspiring conversations from clinicians and industry stakeholders, as well as people who have benefited from the wonders of modern medicine. Since the pandemic, the general public is curious about clinical trials and the opportunities they bring for best possible care. By inspiring conversations in this space, Totally Clinical empowers through knowledge, leading to greater participation in clinical trials – from both physicians and their patients.

With a fun, 80s vibe, the retro theme gives us the freedom to add a dash of levity, without reducing the importance of the topics. We’re not advocating a return to the days of big hair, leg warmers, and turned up collars – but I did enjoy a pang of nostalgia thinking back to the 80s!

Going Mainstream

While we are new on the mainstream podcast channels, Teckro isn’t new to podcasts. In fact, it was tough to select the first six podcasts as we’ve had so many great episodes over the past few months! Once we realized we had an impressive collection to share, we decided it was time to move to the big leagues. Why? So more people can engage with the interesting content and diverse viewpoints of our guests.

To go mainstream with our podcast also meant we needed to kick everything up a notch. Beyond the usual press release and social media launch, we wanted something really BIG. A big personality to match the big goals we have for this podcast.

Who better to help us launch Totally Clinical than the famous Dr. Perry Cox from the TV series Scrubs? Perfectly in character, John C. McGinley channels his Dr. Cox to promote this special “news flash.”

    Giving Voice to Different Viewpoints

The topics we address are as diverse as clinical research itself. We give a voice to medical experts and patients, as well as research staff in the field and clinical research associates helping their sites to properly conduct trials.

We also support non-profits and other charitable organizations, giving them a platform to share their perspectives and increase awareness for the disease areas they champion. To date, we’ve partnered with several, and we are fortunate to include a quote in our press release from Dr. Deborah Zajchowski, scientific director for the Clearity Foundation:

“Every initiative that gets people talking is a step forward, but the Totally Clinical podcast series is also a chance for non-profit organizations to reach other audiences. It allows us to engage in conversations that might accelerate research for treatments and drugs that improve outcomes and survival.”

    Making an Impact

There is no limit to our ambition with this podcast. We are already improving clinical trial operations, with Teckro facilitating digitally interconnected content, communication and oversight. Now, we are taking that same approach to bolster industry conversations.

The podcast is our contribution to the industry. It’s ad free. And we won’t use this to be overly promotional of Teckro. It really is about living our company value of making an impact.

The Totally Clinical: Trial Triumphs & Rad Trends podcast is available ad-free on Spotify, Apple and Google. Get in touch with us if you want to submit a topic for discussion – we’d love to hear from you!

Until then... hang loose and stay awesome 🤙
