TROPION-PanTumor03 Study Team User: Teckro Feedback
Teckro chatted to a staff member involved involved in TP03. Here's how this person answered our questions.
What challenges/risks is Teckro helping mitigate for this study?
TP03 encompasses several substudies which has its own protocol, version number and regional versions alongside the overarching master protocol. To locate pertinent information like inclusion/exclusion criteria, SoA etc, this can be done quickly and efficiently across all study documents using Teckro.
What benefits have sites found in using Teckro?
Participants found having access to documents on mobile device makes it portable and convenient. In addition, receiving mobile app alerts as well as email notification ensured staff were not missing important information.
Teckro was recommended by the Protocol Review Committee – can you explain more?
PRC suggested use of Teckro based on complexity of the study and Teckro is an approved vendor which establishes itself a digital partner to help ease the communication with the sites.
From a study team perspective, what is your feedback of Teckro Search, Survey and Engage?
The Search app is laid out in a simple manner providing users access to information quickly. Despite several digitised documents on the app, the search functionality was able to provide results almost instantly with options to refine the search further through filters.
Survey is a useful tool to gather feedback quickly from targeted audience. Was used after Investigator meetings to understand how participants found the meeting, was able to get a report to review responses. These responses would allow the study team to tailor any future meetings. The app also provided detailed information on participant status on the message, like who has opened the message and who hasn’t, and those who haven’t activated their accounts. This allowed great oversight for time sensitive surveys that may be utilised.
Engage is a useful tool to engage targeted audience by sending messages including study updates, newsletters etc with option to attach files or link directly to relevant information/section of protocols directly within the app. Engage was used for Investigator meetings to welcome participants to the meeting and provide meeting agenda. The app also provided sender detailed information on participant status on the message, like who has opened the message and who hasn’t, and those who haven’t activated their accounts.
Streamline Communication, Redefine Collaboration
Teckro enables an enhanced approach to communications for your clinical trials. Local and global study teams can now send proactive guidance segmented by sites, roles or to specific individuals. It’s now possible to send timely alerts and essential guidance ahead of specific visits to help your sites and CRAs. You can also embed resources within a Teckro message, directing staff to content with a tap of a button.
On the other side, Teckro also connects sites with study experts for faster resolution of study queries. Connect groups can be set up for specific topics, including urgent or non-urgent ILD site queries. Dedicated groups for CRAs reduces the frustration of reaching study monitors for questions that may get lost or forgotten in the volume of emails, voicemails and other communications.
Benefits of Relying on Teckro for Toxicity Management Guidance:
- Study Teams: Consolidate conversations between medical experts and sites in a controlled, compliant, inspection-ready way.
- Sites: Make the best-informed decisions with direct guidance and clarifications straight from medical experts.
- Medical Monitors/CRAs: Triage urgent and non-urgent site queries and provide time sensitive guidance for the best course of action for patient safety.
Securely Connect Sites with Experts for ILD Queries
Learn how Teckro enables ILD safety, including site access to current study content and a secure communication channel to request urgent and non-urgent support. This video provides an explanation for Connect groups members of how sites initiate conversations and how you will be alerted.
Open New Possibilities with Your Study Content
Teckro is a repository for useful study content at the fingertips of your site staff. With each new amendment, local study teams and CRAs can assign the version once approved for a site. This accelerates document distribution and reduces errors from sites following the wrong version.
You also can host multimedia content to provide even more granular guidance to help sites adhere to the protocol. Studies including Serena 4 and 6 are using multimedia, including podcasts to share tips for randomization. You may want to create a video to explain a complex procedure. Or you may have podcasts from different investigators with tips and best practices that will be useful for other sites.
Communications can include embedded content links so you can direct staff to the specific resource. And when staff search Teckro, they can launch a conversation directly from the search results to get clarification or more guidance.
